WHO IS IT3?
IT3 is a non-profit public-private partnership focused on talent development and accelerating technology transfer. Based on best practices from the USA and Europe, IT3 collaboratively works with industry, education, government and community leadership to support current and emerging business needs, while helping to create attractive and inclusive family wage careers.
TECHNOLOGY: SHOWCASE & ACCELERATOR
IT3 intends to manage the IT3 Technology Center showcasing new technologies and giving individuals and companies experience using emerging technologies, especially those related to smart infrastructure and other 4.0 technologies. The ability to easily access and experience new digital technologies, in a digitally threaded environment, will stimulate accelerated commercialization of new technologies to create competitive advantage and living wage jobs.
CONNECTOR & CONVENER
IT3 connects key stakeholders to address our region’s needs as they relate to ideas, skills or technologies associated with increasing economic growth and inclusive wellbeing.
TALENT DEVELOPMENT
IT3 works to connect critical industries, communities, educators and government leaders to build the strength of our workforce to meet current and future needs, especially as they relate to the technical and soft skills associated with smart systems and emerging technologies. We also work with our communities to create accessible pathways to full participation in the workforce—especially in family wage careers. We can also help companies with change management to help them adopt new technologies, greatly speed time to competence for new employees or become more inviting to potential employees—especially those from underrepresented communities. We work with our K-12 education systems and our postsecondary education systems to help enhance their offerings and help in providing key connection points with technology, industry and community.
